In the last episode we added two new fields to User plugin for October CMS. Now our users can add their biography and links to facebook page to their profile. But only on the backend, which actually means they can’t add it because our users can’t access the backend. So that in turn means we have a problem on our hands.

The solution to this problem is acctually easy, add those fields to the frontend and figure out a way to save them. Because as you will see, in this episode we are going to have to extend the User model also, so that we can save those fields. But since this is October CMS this should not be difficult.
