Routing in Nuxt is a bit different than something you would get with Vue CLI, because in Nuxt you don't actually define the routes, but the routes are generated for you automatically based on your pages folder structure, and that is what we are going to be doing in this episode.

Also we are going to start building our Vue and Nuxt site by creating a header which is going to be available through out of our site using the layout files.

Basic Routing

Also we are going to create another action in our Vuex store, and use it to get a single vehicle so that we can display it in our view.

Now we are going to create a Vue application separate from our LoopBack API, and in that app wea re going to list our posts and create Vue controlls for adding new posts to our LoopBack API and also our database.

Adding Posts With Vue

In this episode we are going to wrap what we started doing in the [previous episode](http://watch-learn.com/video-tutorials/theming-with-wp-rest-api-part-11-getting-full-post), and put all of our content in our full post.

After that we a going to setup post control div, and in it we are going to add buttons that will enable us to go to previous and next posts. Of course we are also going to set up a button that will take us to our front page or to our `postList` component with Vue.js.

In this episode of WP REST API theming with Vue.js we are going to wrap up what we started doing in previous episode and finish setting up our full post view.

Wrapping Up Full Post

So in this episode we are going to be creating new component in Vue.js and then we will use that component to display a single post. For this we are going to be using vue router that we installed at the beginning of this video series.

What we will end up is a link to our post that changes the URL of the page but doesn't actually refresh the page, which is what we want.

Getting Full Post

Just like we did with the images in the [previous video](http://watch-learn.com/video-tutorials/theming-with-wp-rest-api-part-03-add-images-to-api/) we will have to manipulate our REST API a little bit to get the names of our categories. But us you will see that is not hard at all, because WordPress has some handy functions for doing that.

In this Theming With WP REST API tutorial we are going to display categories bellow titles of our posts using Vue.js and WordPress API.

In this tutorial series I'm not going to explain the basics of Vue.js but I will try to go slow with the Vue.js parts of this WordPress theme. My personal opinion is that Vue.js is much easier to understand then something like Angular or React.js, and this is why I chose it for this series. It is also lightweight so it won't add much overhead to our WordPress theme.

Listing Posts

There has been a lot of talk in the WordPress community about WordPress REST API. Also there has been talk of adding REST API to the core. Although the WP REST API is still in beta at the time of this video it is pretty well developed. As you will see in this series. It is also very flexible, as you will also see.

So in this series we are going to totally abandon all WordPress's default functionality and PHP and we are going to create a theme using only Vue.js and the REST API.

We are going to be creating just a standard blog, but it's going to be very fast and responsive, and all of that is due to using WP REST API instead of dealing with WordPress loops, and making calls to the database.
