I have been asked this question two times in the past week - "How do you make links to the movies that also have genres in their URLs". So I made this video to show you. So in this video we want our URLs to also reflect the genre of the movie - something like this: `/movies/action/name-of-the-movie` . We will learn how to do that but also how to generally make better links in October CMS templates.

In this episode I'm going to show you how you can make better and more complicated links and URLs in October CMS.

Better Links And URLs

First we are going to create new field in our database and I'm going to show you how to link up your `name` field with your slug field so that it automatically fills up when you add a title to your to your name field. And then we are going to link up our list with the details page via slug instead of id like we did in the previous episode.

After that I'm going to show you how to set up pagination for your list page and how to use optional URL parameters.
