In the [last episode](https://watch-learn.com/creating-rent-car-app-vue-and-october/persisting-state) we created a confirmation page for our checkout process. Now we are going to go into OctoberCMS, create a Reservation model, make relations with our Users and Vehicles and create a route that will create the actual reservation using PHP.

After that, in Vue, we are going to create methods that will send collected data to that route and make the reservation. We are also going to learn how to protect that route so that not just anybody can make that reservation. 

And unfortunately we are going to run into some trouble, but I will show you how to make it work anyways.

You will need [this plugin](https://github.com/octobroid/oc-api-plugin) to make everything work.

In this episode we are going to finish the checkout process and and make reservation in our OctoberCMS, Vue and Vuex application.

Making Reservation

Now we are going to create a pivot table which is going to be reference point between our locations and vehicles. As you will see this is super easy using Octobers Builder plugin. Once this is connected in our backend, we will just need to use some simple Laravel PHP code to display those locations in our vehicle API.

Connecting Locations and Vehicles

Relation Manager is a feature that you get out of the box with October CMS. It is used to provide better controls for managing complex model relationships on the backend of your site.

In this episode we are going to learn how to add Relation Manager to our backend form and how to configure it to work nicely with our already predefined relations. As you will see it's not that hard one you know what you are doing.

We already did used back-end lists while creating our website. But we didn't cover some of the cool stuff that you can do with them. So in this episode we are going to take a closer look at lists.

I'm going to show you how you can use partials to display image for your posts, then we are going to display relationship between two different models and also I'm going to show you how you can use SQL statements in your list to display some data.

In this episode of Making Websites With October CMS we are going to take a bit deeper look at backend lists.

Backend Lists

And in this episode I'm going to show you how to create new Actor model instance when user types in the name of the actor that doesn't already exists in our Actors table.

Also in this episode I'm going to show you how to debug AJAX requests that October CMS uses when saving data from the backend.

Creating New Data via Form Widget

In the [last episode](http://watch-learn.com/video-tutorials/making-websites-with-october-cms-part-13-creating-custom-form-widgets) we have set up our custom form widget, and displayed it on our form page. And now we have to prepare everything so that we can save the data that is coming through it.

First we need to create `Actor` model and then a pivot table that is going to connect our actors and movies. Next we will see how to prepare the variables that we are going to pass to our form widget, so that we can dynamically populate it and save it correctly to our database.

Along the way we are also going to learn a few new things, like how to debug our application, creating table accessors etc. It's a bit longer episode so I'm covering a lot of stuff.

Now we want to do the reverse thing - create a page for specific genre and display all the movies that belong to that genre. So basically we are going to be doing inverse many to many relation ship.

Inverse Relations

In the [previous episode](http://watch-learn.com/video-tutorials/making-websites-with-october-cms-part-09-images-and-galleries) we had a little taste of relations when we linked our poster image with the Movie model, and also when creating our movie gallery. We are going to continue with that in this episode with movie genres. You can look at movie genres like categories for our movies.

We are going to create pivot table in this episode which will serve as a link between our Movie model and our Genre model, and this is the way we will be able to know which movie belongs to which genre and vice versa.

In this episode we are going to be talking about relations in October CMS, this is one of the most important things you have to understand in October to be able to successfully link your content together.

Relations

October CMS already has the systems for dealing with your images. You just have to enable them by adding small peices of code to your models. These are called relations and we are going to be talking about them through out this video series.

In this episode we are going to add movie poster to our movies, and display that poster on the front-end. After that we are going to be creating gallery for our movie, and display that gallery on the front-end also. As you will see it's not difficult at all to do something like that in October CMS.

In this episode I'm going to show you how to add a single image to your model and also how to create gallery of images for your model. Of course we are going to learn how to display those images on our front-end and also resize and crop them.
