We already did used back-end lists while creating our website. But we didn't cover some of the cool stuff that you can do with them. So in this episode we are going to take a closer look at lists.

I'm going to show you how you can use partials to display image for your posts, then we are going to display relationship between two different models and also I'm going to show you how you can use SQL statements in your list to display some data.

Although I planned to continue doing what we did in the [last episode](http://watch-learn.com/video-tutorials/making-websites-with-october-cms-part-21-users), I decided to make this quick video about validating our forms with Ajax.

Our previous version of validation, validated our form by refreshing the page and displaying errors. And this had a nasty side effect - it would clear all the forms input fields, which is not good from the UX perspective, as that would aggravate the user.

So in this episode I'm going to show you how to validate your form without page refresh and that way keep the data in our fields. This is good for the users, but it's also cool that the page doesn't refresh.

We are going to do that by using Octobers Ajax framework and a bit of jQuery.

In this episode we are quickly going back to forms and validation, but this time we are going to do it with Ajax na October CMSs Ajax framework.

Ajax Form Validation

We are going to take a just a few minutes to make our October CMS theme look just a bit prettier. I'm going to show you how you can create partials for your theme that are going to serve as header and footer for our theme. Also we are going to be creating main navigation for our site, and you will learn ho to make navigation items active when you are on their respective pages.

In this episode we are going to take a quick brake from the builder plugin and just make our theme a bit prettier. An of course we are going to learn a few things in the process.

Basic Templating

Partials are a small bits of code that you can reuse all over your theme. If you watched the [Buildng Sites With Middleman Series](http://watch-learn.com/video-tutorials/tags/middleman/) you already know what partials are.

Common use for them is creating separate files for **header** and **footer**, so when you do some changes on them you don't have to do it on multiple files, but instead you change just one file and those changes would be visible on any template that is calling that partial.

In this episode of Drupal 8 Theming tutorial series we are going to learn how to make our theme a bit more flexible by creating and calling partials.
