There are sitmap plugins for October CMS that you can use, and that is ok. The problem with that is that they mostly support only Pages, Static Pages and Blog plugin out of the box. For any other model on your site you would have extend that plugin to recognize your custom model.

So that is one way you could tackle the sitemap problem. The other way, that I will show you in this video is to create a `Route` that will return a view with XML sitemap. I think that by doing this you have much more control over how your sitemap will look.

We already did used back-end lists while creating our website. But we didn't cover some of the cool stuff that you can do with them. So in this episode we are going to take a closer look at lists.

Backend Lists

In the [last episode](http://watch-learn.com/video-tutorials/making-websites-october-cms-part-23-extending-user-plugin) we added two new fields to User plugin for October CMS. Now our users can add their biography and links to facebook page to their profile. But only on the backend, which actually means they can't add it because our users can't access the backend. So that in turn means we have a problem on our hands.

The solution to this problem is acctually easy, add those fields to the frontend and figure out a way to save them. Because as you will see, in this episode we are going to have to extend the User model also, so that we can save those fields. But since this is October CMS this should not be difficult.

In this episode I'm going to show you how to add and save your newly added fields for October CMS user plugin on the frontend of your site.

Extending User Plugin - Frontend

In this episode we are just going to create a simple October CMS component, just for demonstration purposes. Nothing fancy, just a list of actors that we can put on any page we want inside our website.

And in the next episode we are going to expand on that by making options for our component, so that we can have a bit more control over what gets displayed.

Creating New Data via Form Widget

You will probably find your self in the situation where you would need a specific input field in your October CMS backend, and that field will not be available through October or Builder plugin.

In those situations it is best to create your own custom form widget. That is what I'm going to show you how to do in this episode. And in the next episode we will connect that widget with our models, and save the data that is loaded from the widget.

Creating Custom Form Widgets

Repeater fields are actually sets of fields that you can use in your model do add some sort of data that requires multiple instances with multiple fields. For example in our case we are going to be using repeater fields to add actors to our movie model.

The actor would have a name and an age, and also there are at least few actors for every movie. So this should be a perfect example for using repeater fields.

In this episode of Making Websites With October CMS I'm going to show you how to use and create repeater fields for your models.

October CMS already has the systems for dealing with your images. You just have to enable them by adding small peices of code to your models. These are called relations and we are going to be talking about them through out this video series.

In this episode we are going to add movie poster to our movies, and display that poster on the front-end. After that we are going to be creating gallery for our movie, and display that gallery on the front-end also. As you will see it's not difficult at all to do something like that in October CMS.

In this episode I'm going to show you how to add a single image to your model and also how to create gallery of images for your model. Of course we are going to learn how to display those images on our front-end and also resize and crop them.
