In this episode we are going to be using [Builder](http://watch-learn.com/video-tutorials/making-websites-with-october-cms-part-05-builder-plugin-overview) to create our plugin which is going to be a base for our Todo list.

After that we will create some example data using the [Faker](http://watch-learn.com/video-tutorials/making-websites-october-cms-part-27-seeding-faker) plugin, we will pull in this data in the future episodes.

And the last thing is going to be creating the of the actual first part of our API, which is just going to be the list of all our todos.

Before we start using Vue.js 2 to create our application we have to create the API for it using October CMS.

Creating The API

In this episode we are continuing work with Builder plugin for October CMS and I'm going to show you how you can control the output of your details page, how to limit the text coming from your fields and also how to link items on your list page to the details page of your item.

We are also going to learn about the `raw` filter and `html_` function which will help us limit the output of our description field from our Movie model.

Now we are going to continue working with the Builder plugin for October CMS and learn how to display our lists and create and display details page for our movies.

Displaying Lists and Details

In WordPress you have something called "Custom Post Types" and "Custom Fields". Of course October CMS gives you the ability to create custom content types, just a little bit differently. To create our first custom content type we are going to be using the Builder plugin for October CMS.

This plugin let's you scaffold your own plugins for October. Since everything in October is done via plugins, this is the way you would create your own content type and your own custom fields. Of course, plugins in October are used for more than just creating custom content types. You can create pretty much any kind of functionality with them that you want using powerful Laravel framework.

In this episode we are going to do quick overview of the Builder plugin, and create our first plugin and content type.
