As per request from one of the viewers of YouTube channel, in this video we are going to go into regions a little bit more in depth. Learn how to make them, how to add blocks to them and take a look at their HTML output.

But we are also going to learn how you can make custom blocks from your Views and how you can better manipulate them.

In this episode we are going to run into some trouble with Drupal Views, and Foundation framework won't work as expected. But we are going to work around those problems and learn what taxonomies are in Drupal 8, how you can create one and how you can display them using Views.

We are also going to make a drop down menu for those taxonomies, without the help of Foundation framework because there seems to be a problem with that also. But that's no biggie we know how to make drop downs without some fancy framework :).

In this Drupal 8 Theming tutorial we are going to fight our way through some bugs and learn about Drupals taxonomy system, and also how to create drop down menus.

Also we are going to learn how to define our front page so that we don't use the same template as we would use on other content types. This way our front page will be able to have different type of design.

As for the header we are going to style a block that displays the header, add some css to it and I will show you how to change the path of your logo.

By doing all of this we will get better acquainted with Twigs template hints, and will learn where the stuff on our page is coming from.

Drupal 8 and all the other "Drupals" have something called **regions**, they are locations on your page where you can put pieces of content or functionality. You do that among other things by adding **blocks** to them.

Blocks are "containers" that contain some content or functionality in them. You can easily move them around the regions by just dragging them in Drupal administration. Pretty great stuff.
