Vagrant is an app for creating development environments that suit the needs of the app or web site that you are building. In this tutorial we are not going to learn how to make your own special environment, but we are going to use already made one. A so called Vagrant box, in our case it’s going to be Scotch Box.

In this episode we are going to setup Scotch Box, create a database and install Drupal 8 on it. Thus creating our local environment for developing Drupal 8 sites and themes.
