Blitz.js is a framework based on Next.js but it has at least one feature which makes it a full stack framework, and that feature is that you don’t need the API to get the data to your app. Blitz is able to communicate directly with databases right out of the box, it has migrations, it uses Prisma 2 as its ORM and I think that is what makes it special. In this video we are going to focus on how Blitz handles the data from databases.

Since it’s based on Next.js and React, it has you covered on both backend and on frontend side of things. Definetley something to keep an eye on.
