Middleman static site generator has some great options for manipulating images. In this episode of Building Web Sites With Middleman series we are going to learn how to manipulate image sizes and aspect ratios.
In this episode we are going to be using Middleman Dragonfly Thumbnailer to make big images we've displayed in the previous episode a bit smaller. And not just smaller on our screens, but we are going to make actual smaller version of the image files. Also we are going to crop them, and make them maintain aspect ratios, and other cool stuff like that.
Note: you have to have ImageMagick installed on your local machine for this to work.
