Setting up custom post types and fields
In this tutorial you will learn how to use WP-Types plugin to make new post types in Wordpress and how to make custom fields for those post types. You will also learn how to output those fields to your theme.
Custom post types are used to separate your data in WordPress. WordPress does the similar thing already by separating posts and pages, which are default WordPress post types. In this tutorial you will learn how to make your own post type, to further separate content on your site. We will also add new custom fields to those types for entering post type specific data.
